Hike to Mont Céty & Miradou
Last winter, starting from Aillon-le-Jeune, I went on a hike to Mont Céty and Miradou, in the Bauges mountains. I used the winter shuttle serving the Aillons-Margériaz ski resort to get there, but, since there was no snow, it was ideal for hiking.
Hike to Montagne des Frêtes & Champ Laitier
On New Year’s Day 2023, I went on a hike to Montagne des Frêtes and Champ Laitier, near Plateau des Glières. I took a Sibra winter shuttle to get there: Although they are in place to serve the nordic skiing resort (until the end of March), there was no snow at all but it was still convenient for hiking.
Hike to Cascade de la Belle Inconnue
Last winter, I went on a walk to Cascade de la Belle Inconnue, a waterfall near Thônes.
Hike from Saint-Jean-de-Sixt to Les Confins
At the beginning of spring, I walked from Saint-Jean-de-Sixt to Les Confins in La Clusaz, passing by Col des Mouilles.
Hike from Rumilly to Seynod through Saint-Sylvestre / Cascade du Voile de la Mariée
During winter 2020, I went on a hike from Rumilly to Seynod, passing by the village of Saint-Sylvestre and Cascade du Voile de la Mariée (a waterfall in Chapeiry).
