Lake Annecy seen from a temporary beach at Jet de la Rose below Roc de Chère, in Talloires. It feels a bit like some tropical island… The beach usually appears in the fall when the water level of the lake is lower. These days, there has been a drought all summer so it is particulary low.
At the end of 2022, I went on a hike to Chapeau de Napoléon, a minor summit located between Mont Veyrier and Mont Baret above Lake Annecy. The name refers to the similarity of its shape with the hat worn by Napoléon.
In autumn 2021, I went on a hike to Montagne du Villard and Pointe de Chenevier, starting in Doussard and arriving in Talloires.
Last month, I went on a hike to Mont Rampignon and Mont Rampon, two small bumps on the north side of Mont Veyrier.
At the end of the spring of 2021, I went on a hike on Semnoz. I walked through 4 bumps at the top of the mountain: Crêt de l’Aigle, Crêt de la Grande Danne, Crêt de Tertère & Crêt de Châtillon.
In spring 2021, I went on a hike on the east flank of Semnoz: I walked from Sevrier to Annecy, passing trough L’Étang, Vieille Grotte de Chantemerle, Croix du Crêt and Fontaine aux Oiseaux (aka L’Ermitage).
Last spring, I went on a hike to Taillefer, Montagne d’Entrevernes and Crêt de Lally, in the Bauges mountains near Duingt.
At the beginning of the summer of 2020, I went on walk along Lake Annecy through Duingt and Sentier des Roselières in Saint-Jorioz.
Last summer, I went on a hike in Talloires: Starting from Lake Annecy, I walked up to Col de la Forclaz, visiting Cascade d’Angon, Pont des Fées and Belvédère du Bois des Hêtres along the way.
