Hike to Mont Baret
At the beginning of spring, I went on a hike to Mont Baret, a mountain located on the north-east of Lake Annecy, between Mont Veyrier and Col de Bluffy.

Last winter, I went on a walk in the area south of Lake Annecy, in the group of towns ("Communauté de Communes") known as Sources du Lac d’Annecy, where the main rivers flowing into the lake (Ire and Eau Morte) originate.
Last winter, I walked a small part of the Camino de Santiago: I took the Via Gebennensis from Cathédrale Saint-Pierre in Geneva to Col du Mont Sion, in Haute-Savoie.

The Église Saint-Maurice-et-Saint-François-de-Sales is a catholic church in Thorens-Glières, near Annecy. Saint François de Sales, who was born in the Château de Sales nearby, was baptised and ordained as bishop of Geneva in that church. Most of the current building dates from the end of the 19th century.
Last winter, I walked from Rumilly to Albens, in the Pays de l’Albanais (the territory between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains). I passed by the Base de Loisirs du Plan d’Eau, the Etang de Crosagny and the river Deysse.
Last January, I went on a hike to the Sentier des 3 Croix (3-Cross Trail), at the foot of Semnoz near Annecy.
Last fall, I went on a hike to Talabar and the viewpoint of Col du Pré Vernet, below Mont Veyrier.
