Tower of Oude Kerk
The Oude Kerk (Old Church) is the oldest building in Amsterdam. It is located in the Red Light District. Its tower can be visited (guided tour only).
SAIL Amsterdam 2015
SAIL Amsterdam is a maritime event taking place every 5 years in Amsterdam, where boats from all over the world come to the Amsterdam harbour for a few days. Some of the ships can then be visited.
Natura Artis Magistra (Amsterdam Zoo)
Natura Artis Magistra is a zoo in Amsterdam and the oldest in the Netherlands. It houses 700 species.
The Hague
Last summer, I went to the Hague for a day trip. I walked around in the city center and to the beach on the North Sea.
Walk in Paris #3
At the end of the summer, I had to be in Paris for one day. I walked around, first to Montmartre and the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. Then I walked to the Centre George Pompidou before going to the Gare de Lyon railway station.
Hike to Mont Charvin
For my last hike of the summer, I went to Mont Charvin, a mountain in the Aravis range located near Faverges. I followed this itinerary.
Hike to Pic de Jallouvre
The Pic de Jallouvre is a mountain in the Bornes Massif located near Le Grand-Bornand in Haute-Savoie. I followed this itinerary (in the other direction; also I walked until the Col de la Colombière and the end diverges a bit as well), going on a loop around the Pic starting and ending at Le Grand-Bornand.
Hike to Dents de Lanfon
The Dents de Lanfon (Teeth of Lanfon) are a mountain in the Bornes Massif bordering Lake Annecy. There is a great view at the summit but the trail is quite difficult. I followed this itinerary.
