Hike to Grand Mont d'Arêches
Last summer, I went on a hike to Grand Mont, above the village of Arêches in the Beaufortain mountains. I had already been in the area, when I walked to Lacs de la Tempête which are located right below Grand Mont.
Hike to Passage de la Grande Forclaz: From La Clusaz to Sallanches
In summer 2020, I went on a hike in the Aravis mountains: Starting from La Clusaz, I walked to Passage de la Grand Forclaz then went down to Sallanches, passing through Combe de la Grande Forclaz, Combe des Fours, Arête de la Besse and Tête du Greppon on the way.
Hike to Aiguille des Calvaires & Combe de Borderan
At the end of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike to Aiguille des Calvaires and Combe de Borderan, in the Aravis mountains above La Clusaz.
Hike along the Allondon river (Geneva)
At the end of the summer of 2020, I went on a hike in Geneva, following the Swiss part of the Allondon river until its confluence with the Rhône. The river starts in Pays de Gex (France) below the Jura mountains. I visited its source many years ago.

Last summer, I went on a hike in Le Bouchet-Mont-Charvin near Thônes, walking through 3 passes there: Col de la Botte, Col du Fer and Col de l’Épine.

Hike along the right bank of the Rhône in Geneva: From Pont de Sous-Terre to Russin
During the summer of 2020, I went on a hike along the right bank of the Rhône in Geneva: Starting from Pont de Sous-Terre in the city, I walked all the way to Russin.
It is not as straightforward or pleasant as the Sentier du Rhône on the left bank but the path has its moments. Since then, I also walked a third section of the Rhône in Geneva: Starting in Valleiry (in France), I crossed the border at the Far West of Geneva and walked upstream towards Russin.
