Hike to Mont de Boisy
During winter 2020, I went on a hike to Mont de Boisy, a small mountain next to Lake Geneva between Annemasse and Thonon.

During winter 2020, I visited another ski resort near Annecy. This time, I headed to La Clusaz, at the foot of the Aravis mountains: The resort is mostly known for its alpine skiing slopes but is also has extensive nordic skiing tracks, as well as prepared tracks for snowshoes and walking. I walked on those tracks and slightly beyond in order to go up to Tête du Danay, where I had already been during spring. I also walked around Espace Nordique des Confins.
In winter 2020, starting in Sevrier, I walked across the Semnoz to Quintal and Vieugy, visiting Croix du Chef-Lieu, Belvédère de Sainte-Catherine and Grottes de Quintal on the way.
During winter 2020, I walked from Annecy-le-Vieux to Veyrier-du-Lac and Menthon-Saint-Bernard on the east side of Lake Annecy.
Last winter, I went on a walk at the cross-country ski resort on Plateau des Glières, in the Bornes mountains.
On the first day of 2020, I went on a hike to Montagne de la Mandallaz near Annecy: This time, instead of the Tête where I had already been a few times, I went up to the actual (and somewhat unremarkable) summit of the mountain.
Last winter, I tried snowshoeing and visited a few of the nordic skiing resorts around Annecy. Most of them have prepared tracks (with packed snow) for walking and snowshoes. The first resort I visited was the one closest to Annecy, at Station du Semnoz.
In the fall of last year, I went on a hike to Mont Baron and Mont Veyrier, this time starting from Col de Bluffy and arriving in Annecy.
