Last fall, I went on hike above Magland: I walked up to Les Carroz through Gorges de la Colonnaz, visited Mont Favy, then looped back through Arâches.

Hike to Cascade de Montviard & Cascade du Nant d'Alex
In early spring 2021, I went on a hike across Bluffy and Alex passing by the waterfalls in the area: Cascade de Montviard and Cascade du Nant d’Alex.
Hike to Grotte de Bange & Ruines du Cengle
At the end of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike to Grotte de Bange, a deep cave on the south side of Semnoz.

In autumn 2021, I went on a hike to Roc des Arces, below Mont Lachat de Châtillon in Le Grand-Bornand.
Hike to Aiguillette d'Argentière, Lacs des Chéserys, Lac Blanc & Lac de la Persévérance
At the end of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike in Chamonix: I walked by Aiguillette d’Argentière on the way to Lac Blanc and Lac de la Persévérance. I had already been to Lac Blanc many years ago, but I hadn’t known about Lac de la Persévérance then: It is a bit higher and less crowded.
Hike to Pointe de la Galoppaz & Pic de la Sauge
Last summer, I went on a hike to Pointe de la Galoppaz and Pic de la Sauge, in the Bauges mountains not far from Chambéry.
Hike to Montagne des Voirons
In the spring of 2021, I went on a hike to Montagne des Voirons, in the Chablais Alps near Annemasse. The usual path is to start near the monastery (Monastère de Béthlehem) below the summit then walk the short path to Signal des Voirons. Instead, I walked along the ridge, starting in Fillinges and arriving at Machilly.
Hike to Grotte de Barmafi, Pont des Sarrasins & Pierre à la Dame
Last fall, I went on a hike near Mont Lachat above Thônes: I walked through Grotte de Barmafi and Pont des Sarrasins on the way to Belvédère du Mont Lachat. I then walked down passing through Pierre à la Dame and Col de la Buffaz.
Hike to Crêts du Semnoz: Crêt de l'Aigle, Crêt de la Grande Danne, Crêt de Tertère & Crêt de Châtillon
At the end of the spring of 2021, I went on a hike on Semnoz. I walked through 4 bumps at the top of the mountain: Crêt de l’Aigle, Crêt de la Grande Danne, Crêt de Tertère & Crêt de Châtillon.
Hike to Grand Mont d'Arêches
Last summer, I went on a hike to Grand Mont, above the village of Arêches in the Beaufortain mountains. I had already been in the area, when I walked to Lacs de la Tempête which are located right below Grand Mont.
