Euromast
Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam built in 1960. Its main observation platform is at 96m, while the Space Tower, a mobile capsule that takes visitors up and down the antenna, goes up to 185m. It offers a great view of the city.

Spido Rotterdam Harbour Tour
Spido Rotterdam Harbour Tour is a boat tour in Rotterdam: It starts near the Erasmusbrug in the center of the city and goes along the Nieuwe Maas river all the way to the port of Rotterdam, one of the busiest in the world. It is possible to see the shipyards, docks and the transshipping of containers. The tour lasts 75 minutes.
Parc Georges Valbon (Parc de la Courneuve)
Parc Georges Valbon (aka Parc de la Courneuve) is a huge park (417 ha) in Seine-Saint-Denis. After my visit to the Basilica of Saint-Denis, I walked to the park and spent the rest of the day there, until sunset. The weather was really nice and the park looked great in fall colors.
Parc Kellerman
Parc Kellermann is a public park located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. It was created between 1939 and 1950 on the former bed of the Bièvre river.
Parc des Cormailles (Ivry-sur-Seine)
Parc départemental des Cormailles is a large park in Ivry-sur-Seine, a town in Val-de-Marne located just south of Paris.
Grande Mosquée de Paris
The Grande Mosquée de Paris (Great Mosque of Paris) is located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris and is one of the largest mosques in France. It was built in the Moorish Revival architecture style and inaugurated in 1926.
Observatoire de la Capitale
L’Observatoire de la Capitale is an observatory in Québec City. It offers a 360° view from the 31st floor of Edifice Marie-Guyart (altitude of 221m), near the Parliament of Québec. There was heavy rain when I visited so the visibility was limited but it was still interesting to see from above all the landmarks of the city.
Old Port of Québec City: Promenade de la Pointe à Carcy, Bassin Louise
After visiting the lower town of Old Québec, I went on a short walk along the Saint-Lawrence River, in the Old Port (Vieux Port) towards Pointe à Carcy. It started to rain quite hard so I returned to the upper town along Bassin Louise.
Old Québec
Old Quebec (Vieux Québec) is a historic neighbourhood of Quebec City. It is the most popular destination for visitors and contains many old buildings and landmarks, such as Château Frontenac, Edifice Price or Notre-Dame de Québec. It is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Walk along the ramparts of Québec City
During my holiday in Québec, I stayed mostly in Montreal but I also made a day trip to Québec City, the provincial capital. It takes ~3h to get there by bus (Orléans Express). I spent most of the day walking along the ramparts of Québec. Their construction began at the founding of the city by the French in 1608. They are now the only remaining fortified city walls in North America.
