Hike to Cascade de Burgeat

Last summer, I went on a hike to Cascade de Burgeat, a waterfall in Manigod.

Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I took a Car Région bus (line Y62) to Thônes. Then I switched to a CCVT summer shuttle to Manigod. At first, I walked down to the Fier river. I crossed it and went up on the other side. I then followed loosely the course of the river upstream towards the start of the short trail to Cascade de Burgeat. There was very little water there (this site has photos with more flow). I then went down to the Fier, crossed it again then looped back to Manigod by walking along the paved road. I visited the church (Église Saint-Pierre) while waiting for the bus.
