In the morning, I took the train to Chambéry. I started walking to Les Monts de Chambéry on the Bauges side. On Les Monts, there were a few nice viewpoints on Chambéry. I went down Les Monts then walked up to Le Malpassant through Vérel-Pragondran. There, I entered the forest and walked on a path below tall cliffs. That part was more or less flattish. At Pertuiset, I took a steep trail down to Frésenex in Drumettaz-Clarafond. Finally, I walked to the Aix-les-Bains train station.
