Hike along the Fier in Nâves-Parmelan / Cascade de Grattepanche
In the Spring of 2020, I went on a loop between Annecy-le-Vieux and Nâves-Parmelan: Starting from Vignières near where I live, I crossed the Fier and walked along the river, then visited Cascade de Grattepanche (Grattepanche Waterfall).
Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I started walking up the hill above Annecy-le-Vieux. I then went down towards the Fier river using a trail in the forest. I crossed the Fier on Pont de Nâves then followed a path along the river for a while. At some point, I walked on road then found another trail up. Once I reached the forest above Nâves-Parmelan, I followed a dirt road then a trail that led to Parking de la Combe des Buissons. I went down to the village of Nâves-Parmelan and found the trail to Cascade de Grattepanche. It was pretty muddy but the waterfall was nice. Finally, I went back to Pont de Nâves and returned to Annecy-le-Vieux mostly using the road.
