Walk from Annecy-le-Vieux to Veyrier-du-Lac & Menthon-Saint-Bernard
During winter 2020, I walked from Annecy-le-Vieux to Veyrier-du-Lac and Menthon-Saint-Bernard on the east side of Lake Annecy.
Here is a map of the path I walked (download KML, download large map):
I started at the Petit Port in Annecy-le-Vieux near the lake and headed towards Veyrier-du-Lac. I went down to the lake at the port there and visited the church (Église Saint-Maurice) nearby. I then took a path towards Château de Menthon in Menthon-Saint-Bernard. I walked the trail below the castle then found a muddy forest road to reach the hamlet of Le Bosson. From there, I went down towards the center of Menthon in order to catch the bus back to Annecy.
