Camino de Santiago / Via Gebennensis: Walk from Geneva to Col du Mont Sion
Last winter, I walked a small part of the Camino de Santiago: I took the Via Gebennensis from Cathédrale Saint-Pierre in Geneva to Col du Mont Sion, in Haute-Savoie.
Here is a map of the path I walked (download KML):
In the morning, I took a LIHSA bus (T72 line) from Annecy to Geneva. I got off at Quai du Seujet then headed to the Cathedral, which marks the starting point of the Via Gebennensis. I then followed the path through Carouge then crossed into Haute-Savoie. I walked past Beaumont and below the Salève until I reached Col du Mont Sion. At the Col, I took the T72 bus back to Annecy.
