Hike to Tête du Danay & Lac des Confins (La Clusaz)
In spring, I went on a hike to La Clusaz: I climbed up Tête du Danay, a mountain located between La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, then reached Lac des Confins.
Here is the path I walked (download KML):
In the morning, I took a LIHSA bus to La Clusaz from Annecy. Once in La Clusaz, the trailhead to Tête du Danay was located near the bus station. On the trail, there was still a little snow near the summit but nothing too annoying. At the top of the Tête, there was a great view on the Aravis mountains, still covered with snow, and the Chaîne du Bargy on the other side. La Tournette could also be seen. I ate lunch then went down towards Lac des Confins. Once there, I took a path along the foot of the Aravis to loop back to the center of La Clusaz and catch the bus back to Annecy.

At the end of the hike, I went to have a look at the Chapelle du Parc. In the morning, I had planned to start the hike from there but I could not find the trail indicated on the map. It turned out the map was wrong and the trail was quite a bit further along the road.
