Hike to Le Vuache
Earlier this spring, I went on hike to Le Vuache, a mountain in the Jura located on the other side of the Rhône from Fort l’Ecluse.

Hike to Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Rochers des Moillats & Ermitage de Saint-Germain
At the beginning of spring, I went on a hike on the east side of Lake Annecy: Starting at the lake in Menthon-Saint-Bernard, I walked to the castle (Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard), then below the Rochers de Moillats and, finally, visited the Ermitage de Saint-Germain on the way down to Talloires.
Hike to Tête de la Mandallaz & Lac de La Balme-de-Sillingy
At the beginning of spring, I went on a hike to Tête de la Mandallaz and Lac de La Balme-de-Sillingy, north of Annecy.
La Roche-sur-Foron
La Roche-sur-Foron is a town in Haute-Savoie, located between Annecy and Annemasse. It used to be the capital of the County of Geneva in earlier medieval times, until it was moved to Annecy. I went there on a day trip at the beginning of Spring: I walked around the medieval town and in the nature around it.
Hike to Mont Baret
At the beginning of spring, I went on a hike to Mont Baret, a mountain located on the north-east of Lake Annecy, between Mont Veyrier and Col de Bluffy.

Around the end of spring, I went on a hike to Gorges du Chéran, Tours Saint-Jacques and Semnoz (climbing from the southern flank this time).
Hike around Mont Lachat de Châtillon
In spring, I went to Le Grand-Bornand and walked a loop around Mont Lachat de Châtillon. I also took a chairlift to the summit while I was there.
Hike to Croix de Sainte-Catherine & Tour de Branchy
A few months ago, I went on a short hike to Vallon de Sainte-Catherine, a small hill on the west flank of Semnoz, and walked a loop in Seynod after that.
Hike to Pointe de Beauregard & Croix de Colomban
A few weeks after Tête du Danay, I went back to La Clusaz. This time, I hiked Pointe de Beauregard and kept walking until Thônes, passing by the Croix de Colomban on the way.
Hike to Semnoz: From Basilique de la Visitation to Crêt de Châtillon
In mid-Spring, I went back to Semnoz: Starting from Basilique de la Visitation in Annecy, I took a series of trails to the summit of the mountain, the Crêt de Châtillon.
