Hike to Roc de Charmieux
At the beginning of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike to Roc de Charmieux, in Le Grand-Bornand. It is the westernmost summit of the Bargy range, a subchain of the Bornes mountains.

During the summer of 2020, I walked to Tête des Annes and Pointe des Delevrets, in Le Grand-Bornand.
In the summer of 2021, I went back to Aillon-le-Jeune: This time I walked to Mont Morbier, Mont Pelat and Mont de la Vierge.
At the beginning of summer 2020, I went on a hike to Signal de Bernex: At 510 m, it is the higest “peak” inside the canton of Geneva (but not its highest point: At 517 m, Les Arales in the east of Geneva is higher but the area looks mostly flat). I then crossed the Rhône and walked a trail along Nant d’Avril on the way to the CERN in Meyrin.
Last summer, starting from Le Bouchet-Mont-Charvin, I went on a hike to Montagne de Sulens.
At the end of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike to Grotte de Bange, a deep cave on the south side of Semnoz.
At the end of the summer of 2021, I went on a hike in Chamonix: I walked by Aiguillette d’Argentière on the way to Lac Blanc and Lac de la Persévérance. I had already been to Lac Blanc many years ago, but I hadn’t known about Lac de la Persévérance then: It is a bit higher and less crowded.
Last summer, I went on a hike to Pointe de la Galoppaz and Pic de la Sauge, in the Bauges mountains not far from Chambéry.
Last summer, I went on a hike to Grand Mont, above the village of Arêches in the Beaufortain mountains. I had already been in the area, when I walked to Lacs de la Tempête which are located right below Grand Mont.
In summer 2020, I went on a hike in the Aravis mountains: Starting from La Clusaz, I walked to Passage de la Grand Forclaz then went down to Sallanches, passing through Combe de la Grande Forclaz, Combe des Fours, Arête de la Besse and Tête du Greppon on the way.
