Hike to Cascade d'Angon, Pont des Fées, Belvédère du Bois des Hêtres & Col de la Forclaz
Last summer, I went on a hike in Talloires: Starting from Lake Annecy, I walked up to Col de la Forclaz, visiting Cascade d’Angon, Pont des Fées and Belvédère du Bois des Hêtres along the way.
Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I took a LIHSA bus (line 61) to the village of Talloires. At first, I went down to Lake Annecy and walked along the lake near the port. I then started on the trail towards Cascade d’Angon. The final part was very slippery. At the waterfall, I saw a few canyoners. After that, I kept going up towards the hamlet of Rovagny, passing by Pont des Fées along the way. I walked a bit off-trail on a detour through Bois de la Croix then found the trail to Belvédère du Bois des Hêtres. There was a great view on the south part of Lake Annecy from there. Continuing, I reached the road that goes to Col de la Forclaz then cut through a field to join with a dirt road nearby. On the IGN map, that road continued for a while in the forest then stopped. However, there was another road coming down from Col de la Forclaz. It looked possible they may be connected so I walked on the lower road to check it out: The road continued a bit further than marked on the map but it was indeed a dead end. Since there didn’t look to be much to go to reach the other road, I went off-trail in the forest. It was pretty rocky and steep and hands were needed. I also passed through a patch of stinging nettles at some stage. I reached the road on the other side after a while and followed it towards Col de la Foclaz. There was a viewpoint on the lake and Doussard on the way. I joined with the main road to Col de la Forclaz and walked for a few minutes on the side until the Col. There, I waited for some time for the shuttle going down to Talloires.
