Graduation Works Exhibition at the Tokyo University of the Arts

The Tokyo University of the Arts in Ueno is one of the oldest art schools in Japan. For one week at the end of January, they opened their doors to the public for an exhibition of the works of the graduating students.

Tokyo Ramen Map on the Android app store

Tokyo Ramen Map

I released a free app called Tokyo Ramen Map a few weeks ago on the Play Store. It is a simple map application showing all the ramen restaurants in central Tokyo, along with ratings. I built it for my needs so it is quite bare bones. The main point was to make it work offline since I don’t have a data connection outside my apartment.

Shiodome

Shiodome (汐留) is an area in Minato located next to Shinbashi and the Hamarikyu Gardens. Shiodome is one of Tokyo’s most modern areas. The best known feature of the neighbourhood is the Shiodome Sio-Site, a collection of skyscrapers containing mostly businesses, hotels, and restaurants.

Nishiarai Daishi (Soji-ji Temple)

Nishiarai Daishi (aka Soji-ji Temple) is a buddhist temple located in Nishiarai, in Adachi City. It is one of the Three Great Temples in the Kanto region and a large number of people visit the temple at New Year for hatsumode.
