Summer walk in Geneva
Last summer, I went on a day trip to Geneva. Starting at La Jonction, I visited some highlights of the city and walked near the lake.

Walk in Seynod: Parc du Val Vert, Parc du Pré de Vassy
Last winter, I went on a walk in Seynod, a neighbourhood of Annecy. Coming from the old town of Annecy, I visited Parc du Val Vert and Parc du Pré de Vassy, then went back.
Walk along Lake Geneva in Lausanne
Starting at the Tour Haldimand, I walked along Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) until I reached the EPFL campus in Écublens. On the way, I passed by the Parc du Denantou and its Thai pavillon, the Olympic Museum (although I didn’t go in), Ouchy and its castle, as well as many marinas and beaches.
Lyon: Walk along the Rhône
After leaving the Lyon Confluence area, I walked along the Rhône on the way to the Old Town of Lyon (Vieux Lyon), making a few detours here and there.
Walk along Lake Annecy
Starting at the Petit Port in Annecy-le-Vieux, I walked along the north shore of Lake Annecy until the Port des Marquisats.
Walk in Grenoble
After getting down from La Bastille, I spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Grenoble. I then took the train back to Annecy.
Walk along Lac du Bourget: From Bourget-du-Lac to Aix-les-Bains
Starting from the Savoie Technolac in Bourget-du-Lac, I walked on the Voie Verte along Lac du Bourget towards Aix-les-Bains. On the way, I made a detour through Base de Loisir des Mottets in Viviers-du-Lac.
Fog in Rotterdam: Nieuwe Maas, Het Park
Starting from my hotel near Oudehaven, I walked along the Nieuwe Maas river until Leuvehaven and the Maritime Museum. Then I made a detour through the Westersingel canal, on the way to Het Park, where the Euromast is located. I had planned to visit the observatory, but I decided to postpone because of the fog. Instead, I walked back to Erasmusbrug along the river.
Walk along Canal Saint-Denis: From La Villette to Stade de France
Starting at la Villette in Paris, the Canal Saint-Denis connects the Canal de l’Ourcq to the Seine, crossing the towns of Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis on the way.
Walk along Canal Saint-Martin, Bassin de la Villette & Canal de l'Ourcq
The Canal de l’Ourcq, the Bassin de La Villette and the Canal Saint-Martin link the River Ourcq with the Seine (at the Port de l’Arsenal, near Bastille).
