Photos from March
Here are some photos I took last month.
Above, Cascade du Dard above Villaz. It is currently quite hot and the snow is melting: Torrents are flowing fast and it is a great time to visit waterfalls.
▲ Cherry flowers at the end of the day.
▲ Droplet on the ceiling of Grotte du Diable in Salève.
▲ Cascade de Burgeat. There was a lot more water than the last time I was there.
▲ “Le Zozo” in the old town of Annecy.
▲ Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), with the Chablais mountains in the background.
▲ Crocus.
▲ Tour Bastian on the Grand Piton of Salève, the summit of the mountain.
▲ Cascade de la Roche, in Saint-Baudille-de-la-Tour, in Isère.
▲ Lake Annecy seen from the viewpoint of Rocher Blanc above Faverges. There are many places names Rocher Blanc (or some variant, like Roche Blanche) in the area. I intend to visit some of them this year.
▲ Frogs engaged in mating (amplexus).
▲ Plateau des Bornes seen from Aviernoz.
▲ Cherry flowers in Annecy.
▲ Mont Granier seen from Lac de Saint-André, near Chambéry.
▲ “Lake Gazebo” in Parc Charles Bosson in Annecy.
▲ Colorful clothes.
▲ Arve valley towards Chamonix, seen from Montagne de Chevran.
▲ Cascade des Nantisses in Villaz, not far from Cascade du Dard.
▲ Aiguille de Manigod.
