Hike to Montagne d'Âge, Montagne de la Mandallaz & Crêt de la Dame
In summer 2021, I walked through 3 small mountains on the north-west side of Annecy: Montagne d’Âge, Montagne de la Mandallaz & Crêt de la Dame. It was a very hot day so that hike let me stay mostly in the shade of the forest.
Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I took a Sibra bus to Lovagny. I then walked up to Montagne d’Âge: I visited the viewpoint of Croix de Nonglard then crossed the mountain towards Grand Épagny. I went down, crossed the road and walked up again, on Montagne de la Mandallaz: I visited Rocher du Maquis and its cave, then continued to the summit of the mountain (off-trail). I crossed the mountain and went down to Clef des Faux. Finally, I went up Crêt de la Dame and went down on the other side to reach Allonzier-la-Caille. I waited for the 272 bus there.
