Hike across Plateau des Bornes: From Reignier-Ésery to Cruseilles
In autumn 2021, I went on a hike across Plateau des Bornes, an area of Haute-Savoie located between Salève (to the north) and the Bornes mountains (south). Starting from Reignier-Ésery, I walked to Pont de la Caille in Cruseilles.
Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I took the train to Reignier-Ésery. I started walking from there. On the way, I passed by Etang de Mouille-Marin and Oratoire de Saint-Roch et Sainte-Agathe. At the end of the day, I arrived in Cruseilles and waited for a Car Région bus (line 272) to Annecy.

▲ Instead of going up towards the center of Cruseilles (a path that I had already walked), I took a path along the Usses towards Pont de la Caille.
▲ Cows. The path I took passed through their enclosures. They seemed a bit too excited to see me. Fortunately, a farmer came by around that time to lead them to the river and I was able to pass.
