Snowshoe hike on Plateau du Revard
In winter 2020, I went on a snowshoe hike on Plateau du Revard above Aix-les-Bains.
Here is a map of the path I walked:

In the morning, I took the train to Aix-les-Bains then boarded a winter shuttle to Mont Revard. I got off at Foyer de ski de fond de Crolles, put my snowshoes on and started walking on Plateau du Revard towards Chalet de la Plate, following hiking trails this time instead of prepared tracks like the previous times I went snowshoeing that winter. On the path, there were a few rivers to ford. Also, the snow had started melting in a few places so there were some difficult passages to get through because of that. On the way back to Foyer de Crolles, I took an alternate trail that passed through nordic skiing tracks (shared trail) and Tourbière des Creusates. I also made a detour to Croix des Bergers. At the Foyer, I waited for the shuttle back to Aix.
