In the morning, I took a Lac d’Annecy Express boat (run by SIBRA, the local bus operator) from the Impérial Palace hotel in Annecy to Duingt. Unfortunately, this year (summer 2021), this specific line no longer exists: All the summer boats now start from Quai de la Tournette near the old town, which is not very convenient for me. Once in Duingt, I first walked along Lake Annecy towards the castle (Château de Châteauvieux). I then took a trail below Montagne d’Entrevernes towards Saint-Jorioz then went down to the lake. From there, I followed Sentier des Roselières (Reed trail). It is a flat path along Lake Annecy that passes through the port of Saint-Jorioz until the mouth of the Laudon river. After that, there is still a path (unnmarked though) that goes to Marais de l’Enfer, where I had already been a few years ago. Finally, I walked to a LIHSA bus stop in order to get back to Annecy.
