Fox & Chamois in Mont Veyrier

I met this fox today, while walking on a trail in the forest below Mont Veyrier. It didn’t seem too afraid.

Above, it continued foraging after seeing me.

Above, it stopped in the middle of the trail.

Above, suddenly it darted off. I think it was spooked by the noise of another hiker coming from the other direction.

A few minutes later, I also saw a chamois coming down but it was a bit too shy and I was not able to take a correct picture. However, here is a photo of a few chamois I took a couple of months ago, this time near the old Mont Baron cable car.
